The Committee on Hydrological services tasks focus on reviewing and promoting hydrological services guidance, developing flood forecasting practices, and contributing to major flood forecasting projects. The team will guide the development of the Global Hydrological Status and Outlook System (HydroSOS), provide advice to flood and drought management programs, and supervise the development of water resources assessment tools. They will also support the EW4All Initiative by provision of assistance to Members flood forecasting capabilities, assist WMO bodies in improving services, and ensure hydrological data integration into the WIPPS. Additionally, they will support the development of cryosphere-related services.
