HMEI and WMO Circular messages

Dear Member,

Please find attached a Circular letter from the WMO inviting HMEI to nominate its representatives at the Extraordinary session of the World Meteorological Congress (Cg-Ext(2025) to be held from 20 to 23 October 2025 and the extraordinary session of the WMO Executive Council (EC-Ext(2025), to be held on 24 October 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland at the WMO headquarters.

You will recall that HMEI as non-governmental international organization, being granted a Working Arrangement status with the WMO, is eligible to nominate its representative(s) to follow Cg-Ext(2025) and EC-Ext(2025) sessions as Observers. More information regarding the session will be accessible on the Cg-Ext(2025) session website Cg-Ext (2025) - Session Information.

If you would like to attend these session as a HMEI representative, please kindly let HMEI Secretariat know the personal data of your candidate(s) (title, last and first name, Email address) at your earliest convenience, but not later than 1 October 2025, so that all necessary arrangements can be made with the WMO Secretariat. 

Please note that HMEI Council will designate a focal point among proposed candidates to facilitate HMEI preparatory actions for this important event.
